Designed and manufactured in Australia, this portable irrigation system offers extreme versatility with excellent water uniformity. It requires very low labour input, making it easy to use and maintain. Built for long life, it seamlessly works around obstructions, ensuring efficient water distribution with minimal effort.

For use with Angus hoses: 102 mm (4″) x 200 m & 300 m, 114 mm (4.5″) x 200 m & 300 m. Double decker hosereel options: 102 mm (4″) x 100 m & 200 m, 114 mm (4.5″) x 100m & 200m.

Trailco irrigator travellers offer exceptional versatility, making them ideal for a wide range of crops, irregularly shaped fields, and undulating terrain. Their low labour requirement allows a single operator to manage multiple units with ease. Portable and adaptable, they can be towed between fields and manoeuvre around obstacles like power poles and trees. With excellent water uniformity, simple operation, and long-lasting components, Trailco travellers deliver efficient, even irrigation with minimal maintenance. The Trailco-Proven Piston Drive is designed for efficiency, reducing pressure loss and cutting pumping costs.

With no sprockets, chains, gearboxes, belts, or pulleys to worry about, maintenance is minimal. The powerful double-action piston ensures reliable performance, while the simple, mechanically actuated valve keeps things running smoothly.

 

  • Extreme versatility: The travellers irrigate a very wide range of crops and operate well in very irregular shaped fields and on extremely undulating terrain.
  • Very low labour requirement: The travellers can easily be operated by one man and the labour consists mainly of driving a tractor.
  • Portable: The travellers are ideal for irrigating widely scattered areas. They can be towed from field to field or farm to farm.
  • Excellent water uniformity: The continuous movement of the traveller provides a high uniformity of water application. Distribution of the water is very even.
  • Ability to work around obstructions: The travellers are compact units and can operate around power poles, trees or buildings with no problem.
  • Easy to service: All serviceable parts conveniently located for ease of maintenance and adjustments.
  • Pressure Gauge: Sprinkler fitted with high quality liquid filled pressure gauge.
  • Compact Concept with very short turning circle for easier handling, mounted on four wheels for stability.
  • Flotation Tyres with the same track front and rear to minimise bogging and soil compaction.
  • Wide Wheel Track and High Clearance: Wide wheel track to suit average row crop spacings and high ground clearance for reduced crop damage.
  • Tachometer: Fitted to Turbine for ease of setting Travel Speed.
  • Clutch: When pulling out cable, the Turbine Drive is disengaged by means of a Dog Clutch (No Gear & Reduction Boxes turning). Saving on wear to Gears. Meaning longer operating life.
  • Longer Life: All main parts galvanised or plated for maximum protection.
  • Angus Premium Hi-Flow Hose: Top quality irrigation hose which carries a 10 year warranty.
  • Steering Mechanism: Accurate automotive type steering mechanism for maximum stability and excellent tracking.
  • Cable Drum Brake: Prevents over-run and possible damage when towing out cable.
  • Cable Drum Rewind Handle: For easy cable retrieval on an aborted run and to take up slack cable prior to start-up.
  • Automatic Brakes: Allows the machine to start at the end of the path with the hose turned neatly behind the tyres eliminating the need for a long anchor loop. The brakes release automatically when the hose drag is sufficient.
  • Automatic Start Up: Mechanically activated self engagement mechanism for automatic start-up and forward travel, lessening the need to return to the irrigator following start-up.
