The Trailco T250 travellers are easy to operate, built from long life components and require minimum maintenance. They irrigate a very wide range of crops and operate well in very irregular shaped fields and on extremely undulating terrain. The Trailco T250 travellers are compact units and can operate around power poles, trees or buildings with no problem.

For use with Angus hoses 63.5 mm (2.5″) x 100 m, 150 m & 200 m, 76 mm (3″) x 100 m, 150 m & 200 m.

  • Trailco-Proven Piston Drive - Efficient Trailco patented piston drive, with virtually no pressure loss through the drive system, giving you big savings on your yearly pumping costs. Less maintenance, no sprockets and chains to wear, no gear boxes, belts or pulleys to malfunction.
  • Drive Unit having large powerful double action piston and a mechanically actuated valve (All Gunmetal & Stainless Steel construction). Single Main valve with no pilot and shut off valves, that gives you simple, trouble free and reliable operation. The piston is double acting, giving positive power with each stroke of the piston (no lost motion) ensuring that all of the power developed is used to power the cable drum. Also provides a wide range of travel speeds to suit your particular crop water requirements.
  • Compact Concept with very short turning circle for easier handling, mounted on four wheels for stability. • Longer Life – All main parts galvanised or plated for maximum protection.
  • Angus Dragmaster Irrigation Hose, top quality irrigation hose which carries a 10 year warranty.
  • Automatic Shut-Off – The forward movement of the irrigator is stopped automatically by the automatic shut-off mechanism at the end of the spray run.
  • Constant Travel Speed means excellent water uniformity. Speed adjustment by controlling exhaust water from the piston drive with a ball valve and exhaust jets. The exhaust jets are angled for wide distribution of exhaust water.
  • Steering Mechanism – Accurate automotive type steering mechanism for maximum stability and excellent tracking.
  • Cable Drum Brake – prevents over-run and possible damage when towing out cable.
  • Wide Wheel Track & High Clearance to suit average row crop spacings and high ground clearance for reduced crop damage.
  • Cable Drum Rewind Handle for easy cable retrieval on an aborted run and to take up slack cable prior to start-up.
  • Automatic Start-up – Mechanically activated self engagement mechanism for automatic start-up and forward travel, lessening the need to return to the irrigator following start-up.
  • Hose Side Lay Arm - lays hose to either side of laneway. well outside travel path of irrigator.
  • Hose Reel – Specially constructed spool, built with flat base for maximum hose protection and longer hose life.
  • PTO Rewind Hose Reel – The Hose Reel is PTO driven for retrieving the hose, PTO shaft permanently attached to the front of Irrigator allowing the retrieval of the hose to be carried out from the towing position.
  • Self Cleaning Filter Element – to protect drive unit.
  • Easy to service – All serviceable parts conveniently located for ease of maintenance and adjustments.
  • Pressure Gauge – Sprinkler fitted with high quality liquid filled pressure gauge.

OPTIONAL EXTRAS:

  • Sprinkler tilt Coupling designed to assist in combating the effects of wind by varying tragectory angle of sprinkler.
  • P.T.O. Driven Hose Purge Kit – makes it possible to exhaust the water from the hose prior to it being reeled in for easier wind up in heavy conditions for maximum hose protection and longer hose life (Standard on T250-2 with 76 x 200 m hose).
  • Bolt on Rear Wheel Brakes – for conditions where sprinkler over-run is a problem. The brakes release automatically when hose drag is sufficient. Allows the machine to start at the end of the travel path with the hose turned neatly behind the tyres, eliminating the need for a long anchor loop.d
